  • What is a first session like?
    A first session is designed to get to know the clinician as well as Cheryl getting to know you and your goals for counseling.
  • Does Cheryl Rogers Counseling take insurance?
    Cheryl Rogers Counseling is out of network for insurance. If you would like to receive a receipt for counseling, she would be happy to provide it for you so that you can file with your insurance for reimbursement.
  • Is a diagnosis needed to do NFB or Bioregulation?
    Treatment can be done for clients with Brain Mapping, symptom driven, or diagnosis driven. With any of these three a treatment plan can be formulated for effectiveness.
  • How many sessions do you need in NFB?
    NFB (sometimes called Brain Training) is like going to the gym. Training is normally 30-40 sessions for completion of treatment. The sessions are 1-2 times a week.
  • How is Bioregulation different from Neurofeedback?
    NFB is training the brain to work more efficiently, and Bioregulation is regulating from a cellular level in the body.
  • How does BRT work?
    Bioregulation Therapy is a unique and highly-effective wellness modality that uses advanced pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) technology to support biological communications at the cellular level – ultimately helping the body self-regulate, adapt, and heal naturally. There are sensors placed on the wrist and ankle while other sensors are placed in other areas of the chest or head. The client sits comfortably in the chair until the program is complete 45-75 minutes. The client can read, listen to music or watch videos.
  • Is BRT effective?
    Yes BRT (treatment from the cellular level) is effective, and most clients see a change within 6 sessions.
